Letter 9

Twilight Park

Haines Falls, N.Y.

19. September. 1927

Dear Margaret:

So many thanks for the Autumn leaves and the welcome home!1 Alas, you see, I misled you unmeaningly. I have changed plans and shall not be in New Canaan until the end of this week at least. However, I am never in a hurry to leave the hills.

Write soon!

From Carman
