Letter 66

Twilight Park

Haines Falls, N.Y.

5. July. 1928

Dear Margaret:

Above is my address for the summeróin case you should have forgotten it! In your present superfluity of naughtiness and abysmal silence, there is no telling what may have befalled you in the way of negligent iniquity.

Only donít be ill! No more sick spells, pray! And send even a stingy post-card to your excruciated and rapidly disintigrating [sic] anthologistóBeloved child of the Celtic flare1óor Keltic, if you prefer!

I am here since Sunday, and have the cottage all ready for the arrival of my New Canaanites to-morrowóNo Hyvites, Gerjeshites, Jubusites2 nor Fly-by nights need apply. A great and joyous exception made, however in favor of Torontites, Winnipegites, Vancouverites or other Canadianites in fear of the Lord and possessed with the beginning of wisdom!

Therefore a word, a word, blessed Margaret, to your loving

Stick-tites, Lovenights, and Spend-the-nights immensely appreciated!
